This was our acclimation hike for Mt. Whitney, June 3-4 2014. We also used this hike as an opportunity to practice our glissading and self-arresting skills. Last year I purchased a Sony Nex F3. As a result, I am far more likely to have a decent camera with me on hikes and on my way to/from work. With the shift in my schedule this year (I bring Ethan to day care), I’ve been seeing lots of nice sunsets and sunrises. Here are the pics:
I hiked Blue Mountain hoping that I’d get some nice sunrise photos. Unfortunately, cloud cover was very heavy to the east.
