My wife and I were hoping to spend some time snowshoeing. There wasn’t enough snow for that, but we manged to make a snowman and give my son his first ride on a sled. After he tired of sledding, my son said ‘No sled, climb the hill,” so I guess we got a little ‘hiking’ in too.

I was able to bring some gear along for testing:

Notable Gear

  • Hydrapak Stash
    • I continue to be impressed with this bottle. Plan on using it for another 3 weeks, then post a full review.
  • Oboz Bridger BDry
    • I wore these to work in the morning, then for snow play in the afternoon. Very comfortable. Looking forward to getting these out on a trail. It was in the low 40’s and my feet stayed dry and warm.
  • Mortar Mixing Tub
    • With a little redneck ingenuity, it works well as a sled 😀
