I had a very strenuous hike planned for this day (16 miles, ±5500 ft), but had to cancel due to some exciting news. Kurgo announced that Riley (my dog) and I are finalists for a $5000 sponsorship. The sponsorship would give me the financial means to purse and amazing adventure – we are hoping to hike NH’s 52 With a View over July & August this year.
To strengthen our application we (Riley, my wife, and I) headed out to the Children’s Forest Exploration Trail to shoot some video footage for our profile. We didn’t log as many miles as I had hoped, but we managed to get some decent video.

Since the purpose of the trip was to shoot some video, we lots of camera gear (tripods, multiple cameras, etc) and didn’t carry some of stuff I would normally carry.

- My wife was a little skeptical of the utility of the air bladder, then she discovered she could use it to spray our dog with water. Riley was not impressed!
